WILLIAM H. MOORE

William H. Moore, 96, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Bethany Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in DeKalb.

He was born March 8, 1929, in Willisburg, Kentucky, the son of William and Mary (Lewis) Moore.

William was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. 

He is survived by his children Bonnie Stojan, Billy Joe Moore and Gale (Dale) Bell; his grandchildren Brandon, Melissa, Heather, Melanie, David, Michael and Cassandra; his ten great-grandchildren; his brother Rodger; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Donna; his stepson David Scheffers and two sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb with Full Military Honors by DeKalb American Legion Post 66..
