TIMOTHY SHAWN WILTSE

Timothy Shawn Wiltse, 58, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, in Montrose, Colorado.

Timothy was born to James A. and Joan (Marshall) Wiltse on February 20, 1965, in DeKalb, Illinois.  The family moved to Bemidji, Minnesota, in 1972, where Tim attended St. Philip's Catholic School and Bemidji High School.  In 2008, he attended Northwest Technical Collage earning a degree in Residential Plumbing/HVAC; and, subsequently, being employed by a company in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Tim had various areas of employment during his lifetime.  He was skilled in a variety of areas and was exemplary in his job duties.

Tim had a good heart, liked people and had a witty sense of humor.  His Catholic faith was important to him.  He attended St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji and  was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Tim is survived by his son, Shawn (Morgan) Gibbs and grandson, Zack of Laporte, Minnesota; parents, James A. and Coleen Wiltse of Bemidji, Minnesota; brothers, Michael (Vera) Wiltse of Greer, South Carolina, James P. (Kathy) Wiltse of Las Vegas, Nevada, Daniel Wiltse of Bemidji, Minnesota; sister, Angela Ness of Bemidji, Minnesota; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
 

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Davis; sister, Dawn Kern.

Private family graveside service will be held at Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery in DeKalb, Illinois, on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
