TIMOTHY W TALLEY

Timothy (Tim) W. Talley, 66, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Kishwaukee Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 11, 1956, in Sycamore, IL, the son of R.C. Talley, Jr. and Greta (Turner) Talley.

Tim was a Q.A. manager at various facilities over the years, most recently at Oakley Industries Sub Assembly Plant in Belvidere. He also worked for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Department for over 20 years. He was an avid Cubs fan. He loved his grandchildren more than anything else and enjoyed working on his 66 Mustang.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kandi and children Heather (Jason Rose) Talley, Kimberly (Brett Protano) Miller, and Patrick Talley; Grandchildren Lexie, Jarrett, Haley, Rylee, Madison, Jacob, Aidan, Brinlee, Damien, and Cayson; Siblings Bobby (Phyllis) Talley and Denise (Kenny) Bailey.  He is also survived by his step mother Ann and Step Siblings Anna and Mike along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Kristopher Michael and his sister Phyllis.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15 from 10am-12pm at Anderson Funeral Home 2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115 followed by a Celebration of Life at DeKalb Elks Lodge, 209 S Annie Glidden Rd, DeKalb, IL 60115 from 1pm to 5pm. Refreshments will be served.
