Thomas Bryan McGee, 53, born in January of 1972, and passed away in September of 2025, lived a life filled with profound love and unwavering commitment. He married his soulmate, Cindy, in July of 1990, and their 35 years together were a testament to a protective, unselfish love that mirrored our Heavenly Father's love. Tom's devotion to Cindy was evident to all who knew him.

He was a beloved father to his son, Brad McGee, and his wife, Kirsti, and his daughter, Brianna McGee (Cord Murray). His grandchildren, Levi, Jackson, Braelynn, and Jesse, were the joy of his life, and his love for them knew no bounds. Tom found immense happiness in spending time with his family, especially when his children and grandchildren were all together.

Tom was the cherished son of Tee and Judy McGee, who raised him with love and compassion, instilling in him the value of hard work. He was also deeply loved by his mother-in-law, Shirley Ramsey, his sisters Terri McGee, Tammy McGee, and Tracy Hartje (Jeff), his sister-in-law Lynda Monroe (Mark), and brother-in-law Chris Ramsey. Tom was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed by his lifelong friends, Brian and Rhonda Cantrell, and their family.

He was preceded in death by his father-in- law, Lyndon Ramsey.

A generous spirit, Tom valued people above all else. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, finding spiritual solace in nature, especially on family trips to Missouri.

At 18, he surrendered his life to Jesus and was baptized, a decision that he eagerly shared with others. Tom's hope was that all would experience the love of Jesus by surrendering their lives to Him, and he looked forward to seeing everyone in Heaven.

A visitation will be held at Christ Community Church, 2350 Pride Ave., DeKalb, IL 60115, on Saturday September 20th, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow.
