Susan Carol Hannon, 58, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home.
She was born September 30, 1966, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Eileen (Haase) Hannon.
Susan was athletic, she enjoyed running (and her Chicago Cubs). She also enjoyed her cats Cabernet and Merlot.
Susan was a generous woman; continuously giving her time to be there with her friends and family. She was present and attentive; always wanting to be in the moment with the ones that she loved.
She is survived by her brother Stephen (Mia) of DeKalb; her nieces Sandra Hannon and Cynthia (Jake) Defratis both of Jacksonville, Florida; her nephews John R. of DeKalb, Joseph of DeKalb and Thomas of Brooklyn, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Raymond F.; and her sister Carol M.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S Madison Street, Willowbrook, Illinois. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
