Sally A. Davis, age 80, of Huntley, IL passed away peacefully on May 3rd,2024, at Journey Hospice Care in Barrington, IL.

Sally was born December 29, 1943, in DeKalb IL, the daughter of Toivo and Marian (Scheer) Luoma.

Sally graduated from DeKalb High School in 1963. She married her high school sweetheart Alan Davis and they had one son. She was employed by the DeKalb Ag, Northwest Insurance Agency and Specialty Ingredients where she retired from after many years.

Sally loved playing golf, being outside gardening and spending time with her family.

She will be remembered as a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and sister who was always there for her family.

Sally is survived by her beloved partner of 36 years Ronald Joseph; her son Jeffrey (Patty) Davis; her grandchildren Taylor and Joseph Davis; her brother John Luoma; her three sisters Mary Chadraba, Kathy Horn, and Laurie (Robert) Brown; also several nieces and nephews.

Sally was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Alan Davis; her brothers Gerald Luoma and William Luoma; and her sister Sharon Wheatley.

The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb, with Rev. John C. Dorhauer, officiating. A private burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at noon at the funeral home.
