Rhonda Starr Maness, 69, of Lee, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024, at her home.

 She was born December 18, 1954, in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of James and Nacola (Franklin) Crooke.

 Rhonda was employed at Caron Intl in Rochelle, GTE in Genoa, GE in DeKalb and most recently Burgess Norton in Geneva prior to her retirement. Rhonda also worked at the Casey’s in Shabbona and Waterman. She enjoyed camping in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin, also she enjoyed animals especially labs, antiques, fishing, reading, and flea markets. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Rhonda had a unique and quirky personality and was very giving.

 She is survived by her husband of 45 years Jerry; her children Chris (Julia) Harding of Rochelle, Cheryl (Chad Holley) Reynolds of Malta, Jennifer (Jay) Armes of DeKalb, Bianca (Shannon) Van of Redgranite, Wisconsin, Jamie (David) Gibson of Paw Paw; her 17 grandchildren; her two great grandchildren; her brother Rick (Yvonne) Crooke of Rochelle; her sister Renee Roach of California.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and her aunt Cris Crane.

 A private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin.

 Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
