Pauline Mae Loux, 95, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center.
She was born March 20, 1930, in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Paul and Gillie (Farris) Perkins. Pauline married Robert H. Loux at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Somonauk on July 6, 1949.
Pauline attended DeKalb Schools. She was employed at General Electric in DeKalb for over 30 years prior to retirement in 1990.
She is survived by her daughter Debra (David) Hinkston of Amboy; her granddaughter Dacia Hensley; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents; her sisters Ann Della Palmquist and Joyce Oleson; Her brothers J.C., Everett “Pete”, Lonnie, and George Perkins; and her granddaughter Katherine Espe.
Pauline’s Family would like to express their gratitude for the exemplary care she received at DeKalb County Nursing Home.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
Private family graveside services will be held at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.
