PATRICIA "PATSY" ANN ROGERS

Patricia Ann “Patsy” Rogers (Isham), 81 of DeKalb, IL. went home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 28, 1941, to Mattie Lee (Votaw) and Reuel Isham. Patsy was happily married to Delbert Rogers of Conway, Kentucky for 64 years.

Patsy’s life centered around serving God and her family. She read her bible daily and prayed passionately. Delbert and Patsy’s love for God, family and each other serves as a true inspiration and testament to us all.

Patsy is survived by her husband Delbert; her children Debra A. Scott (Thomas) of Sycamore, IL., Douglas J. Rogers (Kristen) of Tyler, TX., Steve D. Rogers (Stacey) of Hilliard, OH., Wanda R. Hall (Charlie) of Nicholasville, KY., and Del W. Rogers (Heather) of Black River Falls, WI.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren Matt, Lee, Tyler, Kenton, Michelle, Melissa, Myla, Andrew, Callie, Sean, Caroline, Heather, Emma, Noel, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 step grand-children Andrew, Rebecca, Michael, Dylan, 2 sisters Mabel Kalous of OH., and Louise Sipes of IL., and 1 brother Reuel T. Isham Jr. of TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Patsy loved to serve others and one way she accomplished this was by working as a Nursing Assistant caring for patients with Alzheimer’s at Pine Acres Nursing and Rehab in DeKalb, and Shabbona Nursing and Rehab.

The funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2022, at Anderson Funeral Home 2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115 with Pastor Bob Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
