Nancy J. Jackson, 88, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023, at her home.

She was born February 1, 1935 in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Benjamin and Bertha (Hogan) McNeely. Nancy married Joe Jackson on January 11, 1969, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Nancy was a graduate of DeKalb High School, class of 1953. She was a lifelong DeKalb resident and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for over fifty years. Her friends and family brought her much joy in her life.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Lofley and Brenda Luhtala both of DeKalb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; her daughter, Karen Luhtala and six sisters.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11am Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1915 North First Street, DeKalb, with Rev. Bob Hansen officiating. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery, in DeKalb. 

Visitation will be from 10am until the time of services at 11am at the church.
