LOURDES CABRERA de CASTORENA

Lourdes Cabrera de Castorena passed away on Saturday March 2, 2024 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.

She was born on December 9, 1945 in Mexico to Antonio Cabrera and Concepcion Perez.

She is survived by her husband Angel Castorena; children Jaime (Zaida), Susana (Gilberto Garcia), Angelica, Angel and Oscar; grandchildren Emilse (Vaughn) Garcia, Amanda (Isaac) Garcia, Mauricio and Daniel; Great Grandchildren Christopher and Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday March 5, 2024 from 6pm-8pm at Anderson funeral home, 2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2024 at 10:30am at St Mary’s Parish, 302 Fisk DeKalb, IL 60115.

Nació el 9 de diciembre de 1945 en México, hija de Antonio Cabrera y Concepción Pérez.

Le sobreviven su esposo Ángel Castorena; los niños Jaime (Zaida), Susana (Gilberto García), Angelica, Ángel y Oscar; nietos Emilse (Vaughn) García, Amanda (Isaac) García, Mauricia y Daniel; Bisnietos Christopher y Elliott.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y cinco hermanos.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio el martes 5 de marzo de 2024 de 6 p. m. a 8 p. m. en la funeraria Anderson, 2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115. Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre el miércoles 6 de marzo de 2024 a las 10:30 a. m. en la parroquia de St. Marys,  302 Fisk DeKalb, IL 60115.
