Linda Christine Lorbach 75, of DeKalb, IL. passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Bethany Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Linda was born October 19, 1948 in Chicago.  She was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Jeanette (Loring) Lorbach, and her husband, Wayne H. Fetzer.  Survived by her brother Steven (wife Linda) Lorbach (Lino Lakes, MN), nephews Eric & Lucas, and niece Cassie.  Graduated Harold L. Richards High School, Oak Lawn, IL 1966.  For her senior trip, she visited Moscow, Russia.  She has a bachelor's degree in anthropology and a Masters Degree in counselling both from NIU.  She was employed with DeKalb Police dispatch and by NIU as a computer lab manager and other IT areas.  She traveled to Mexico, China, Russia, Egypt, Greece, and several times to Brazil.  She enjoyed the Illinois Pow Wow, singing, gardening, and playing the flute.  Internment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip, IL. Memorial Service on Sunday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 900 Normal Road DeKalb, IL 60115.
