LINDA GRIMSLEY Obituary

Linda S. Grimsley, 74, of DeKalb, IL, passed away on January 15th, 2023 at home.

Linda was born on February 6th, 1948 to Alex and Janis (Underhill) Perly in Elgin, IL.

She is survived by her brother, Lex (Brenda) Perly of Elgin, IL; her sister Kristy (Carl) Petersen of South Elgin, IL; three sons, Brian Grimsley of Rockford, IL; Darin Grimsley of DeKalb, IL; and Ryan (Tonya) Grimsley of Lake Geneva, WI; her granddaughter, Tiffany Grimsley of DeKalb, IL; her grandson, Grayson Grimsley of Lake Geneva, WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Linda was an avid reader and a fierce protector of her grandkids. She made everyone around her feel comfortable and loved. She could make anyone laugh and she did every chance she got.

She was predeceased by her father, Alex Perly; her mother, Janis (Underhill) Perly; her son, Kevin Grimsley; her husband, Keith Grimsley; and sisters, Cinda L. Winterrowd; and Karen McMenamin.

There will be no services for Linda as that’s what she wanted.
