LARRY RAUMAN

Larry Rauman, 81, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, at Rush Copley Hospital in Aurora. Larry married Bonnie on March 26th, 1988 in Las Vegas.

He was born March 25, 1941 in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of John and Vernice (Taylor) Rauman. Larry was a graduate of DeKalb High School in 1959.

He worked at Barber Greene and Caterpillar for 44 years.

He coached Little League for many years and had a love for all Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs. Larry’s passion for cars began at the age of 15 when he started working at Amoco in Sycamore.

Larry’s family and friends meant everything to him.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Henderson) Rauman; his children, Jerry (Cathy) Rauman, Stepchildren Jim (Tina) Boyes and Terri (Boyes) Pardridge; Grandchildren Justin Rauman, Christopher Boyes, Kyle Boyes, Nina (Pardridge) Barnes, Tim Barnes, Heather Pardridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vernice (Taylor) Rauman.

There will be a gravesite memorial service at Mound Rest Cemetery in Cortland on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 12pm.
