Karen J. Seppelfrick, 85, of Elburn, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Illinois.

She was born February 27, 1939, the daughter of Herman and Luetta (Lindeman) Meyer.

 Karen married Merle Seppelfrick on December 14, 1974 at Faith Lutheran Church in Geneva. 

She is survived by her husband Merle; her daughter Tammy (John) Westphall; her son Kenny (Debbie Test) Kames; her grandchildren Kevin (Mikayla) Kames, Melissa (Dan) Sigler, Shannon Westphall; her great-grandchildren Malachi, Jethro, Theo, Jasper, and Graham Kames and Daniel, Lucas, Cameron, and Connor Sigler; also her step-daughter JoAnn Green;  her step-grandson Joseph Deutsch; and two step-great grandsons Ronny and Luke Deutsch;  and her special cousin Howard Lindeman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Merl Meyer and Beatrice Cruise.

Private burial will take place at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.
