JUNE M. SMITH

June Smith, 81, of Farmington, Missouri formerly of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis, Missouri.

She was born June 29, 1944, in Sycamore, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and  Florence (McMillan) Coan. 

She is survived by her children Florence “Missy” Yurs  (Billy Muir) of DeKalb, Robert “Bobby” (Lorrie) Yurs of Poplar Grove, Willis Yurs of Malta, Shane (Amy) Harris of  Springfield, Illinois and Tommy (Nicole) Harris of Farmington, Missouri; her grandchildren Andrew, David, Teejah, Aaron, Donald, Brittany, Willie, Walter, Jacob, Emily, Austin, Emma, Troy and Anna; and numerous great grandchildren; her brothers Francis Coan, and Wesley  Coan; her sister Arlene Housely; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne; her parents and her great grandson David Jr.

The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb with Pastor Ron Rothlisberger officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
