Julie Lynn Siddique (Corbett), 60, of Sycamore, IL, passed away on May 28th, 2026. 

Julie was born on January 11th, 1966 to James and Helen Corbett in West Allis, WI. She pursued her education at Northern Illinois University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Arts in 1988. Julie continued her education at Western Illinois University where she received her Master’s degree in Education in 1995.

Julie will be remembered for her curious mind, and generous spirit. An avid reader with a particular love for literature and history, she found joy in learning and sharing her knowledge with others. Julie devoted much of her life to serving her community, working as a teacher and in various areas of social service, where her compassion and dedication touched countless lives.

Julie found joy in collecting treasures and unique keepsakes from her travels, tending to her garden, going for runs, and immersing herself in the arts. Her warmth, wisdom, and kindness enriched the lives of all who knew her. Julie will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sycamore Public Library in memory of Julie Lynn Siddique.
