Judy Kay Jedryck, 77, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Bella Terra Rehabilitation Center in Lombard, Illinois.
She was born September 25, 1946, in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Harold and Catherine (Fowler) Trotz.
Judy was employed at Northern Illinois University testing department, later at Walmart and then Farm and Fleet prior to retirement in the 1990’s. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, reading, flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed visiting historical places including Galena and Springfield.
She is survived by her children Jim (Beth) Burton of Oswego, Josh (Daye) Burton of DeKalb, Jason (Katie) Burton of St. Louis, MO, and Lucy (Dan) Whitson of Melbourne, FL; her eleven grandchildren; her two brothers Gene Trotz and Kenny Trotz; and her two sisters Janet Johnson and Roxy Boehme.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Duane, Larry and Doug.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Malta United Methodist Church, 201 East Sprague Street, with Rev. Jeremiah Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
