Jack A. DeBolt, 87, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2025, at Saint Joseph Hospital-Elgin.
He was born November 6, 1937 to Edward and Alice (Caquelin) DeBolt in Aurora, Illinois.
Jack's childhood was spent in Shabbona graduating from Shabbona High School in 1956. He married the love of his life, Linda Palmatier, June 30, 1979, in Elgin. Jack was a lifetime member of Iron Workers local 393/498.
He is survived by his children Jackie DeBolt of Sycamore, Illinois, David (Diane) DeBolt of Pekin, Illinois, Rita (Kevin) Dobson of East Peoria, Illinois and Jeff DeBolt of Creve Coeur, Illinois; his step-children Vicky Terrell of DeKalb, Illinois, Terri (Dave) Holderness of Sycamore, Illinois, Sherri (Elmer) Warfield of Eubank, Kentucky, Ricky Miller of DeKalb, Illinois and Kevin (Heidi) Miller of Paw Paw, Illinois;  18 grandkids and four great-grandkids. 
Per Jack’s wishes there will be no services.
