He was born on April 20, 1945 in DeKalb to Marcella Mosher and George Belk Sr. He is survived by his half sister Bonnie Swineheart and half nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his half sister Barbara Schultz. George retired from Anaconda Steel and Wire Company.
