FREDRIC W. TODD JR. Obituary
Fredric W. “Freddie” Todd Jr., 85, of Waterman, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025, at Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.
He was born October 24, 1940, in Mendota, Illinois, the son of Fred and Sally Todd Sr. Fred married Sharon Stryker on June 25, 1960 in Rollo.
Fred was employed at DeKalb Ag/Monsanto in Waterman for thirty-four years prior to retirement in 2001. He was a groundskeeper at Indian Oaks Golf Course in Shabbona. Freddie was a people person who enjoyed the “Todd Open” annual golf outing. He also enjoyed cooking, watching westerns, trips to Las Vegas, spending Friday and Saturday nights at Welcome Matt and his annual anniversary trip to Ladd with friends. Christmas was Fred’s favorite time of year.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sharon; his children Mark (Betsy) Todd of Shabbona, Brian (Peggi) Todd of Waterman and Kelly Todd of DeKalb; his grandchildren Dane, Matthew, Mary , Andrew, Connor, Brayden, Gabrielle, Andrea and Daniel; his great grandchildren Wesley and Amelia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
