Erin Herek, 51, of Cortland, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023.
She was born March 27, 1972 , in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Richard and Carol (Johnson) Callahan. Erin married Jade James in 1990 and later Scott Herek on March 20, 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Wesley James, and Dolan Herek; her parents; her siblings, Rhonda (John) Mayer and Jeremy (Lisa) Callahan.
She was preceded in death by her husband Scott; nephew Eli Hutchins; grandparents, Jerry and Marge Johnson, Raymond and Eleanor Callahan; cousin, Jacob Kellen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
