DONNA DEE LEWERENTZ

Donna Dee Lewerentz, age 46, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023.

Donna was born April 8, 1977 in Elgin IL and is the daughter of Herb and Nielsine Lewerentz. Her greatest joy in life was her son, Niels and most recently her grandson Ryder Lewis Lewerentz. 

Donna graduated from McHenry West Campus HS in 1995.She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Dekalb and was described by one of her friends as “an amazing woman who loved everyone.”

Donna is survived by her parents Herb(Lara) Lewerentz, Nielsine Lewerentz, her son Niels(Bailey) Lewerentz, and grandson Ryder Lewerentz, two brothers David(Josh) Lewerentz and Bob(Marbella)  Lewerentz and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb IL on Monday, December 18th at 2 with reception to follow until 4 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Anderson Funeral Home.
