Cynthia E. Curtis, 58, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her home.

 She was born January 4, 1965, in Streamwood, Illinois, the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Ladas) Curtis.

 Cynthia was a member of The Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church in Elgin.

 She is survived by her brother, Dean (Susan) Curtis of Fox Lake; sister-in-law, Carolyn Curtis of Bartlet;  niece, Emily (Kevin) Weber; nephews, Matthew (Amy) Curtis, Noah (Isabel) Curtis and Joshua (Natalie) Curtis; several great nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jeff Curtis.

 The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 320 South Second Street, DeKalb with Fr. Nicholas Jonas officiating. Interment will follow at Bartlett Cemetery. 

 Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
