CAROL PLESA

Carol Plesa of DeKalb passed away on July 31, 2026, at DeKalb County Nursing and Rehab. 

She was born on March 9, 1934, in DeKalb, the daughter of Raymond and Beryl (Baker) Powell. 
 
She is survived by her children Alan Wolff, Karen Lisafeld, Paul Plesa and Diane Plesa; son-in-law Mark Scott; stepson George Plesa and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
 
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Cheryl Scott; husband Paul Plesa; fiancée of 25 years Robert Hanlon; and three siblings.

A private interment will take place at Fairview Park Cemetery.
