Carmela Jimenez Vazquez, 51, of Belvidere, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at Northwestern  Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb.

She was born July 16, 1974, in Mexico, the daughter of Miguel Jimenez and Guadalupe Canello.

She is survived by her husband Juan; her children Itzel, Adrian, Carlos and Alma Vazquez; Grandchildren Armani, Adalynn, Celina, Damian and Leo; Siblings Higinio, Mercedes, Rosa, Alfredo and Alicia; Nieces Jessica, Laura, Janett and Yoana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Yiyo.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, December 26, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.

Nació el 16 de julio de 1974 en México, hija de Miguel Jimenez y Guadalupe Canello.

Le sobreviven su esposo Juan; sus hijos Itzel, Adrian, Carlos y Alma Vazquez; sus nietos Armani, Adalynn, Celina, Damian y Leo; sus hermanos Higinio, Mercedes, Rosa, Alfredo y Alicia; y sus sobrinas Jessica, Laura, Janett y Yoana.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano Yiyo.

El velorio se llevará a cabo de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. el viernes 26 de diciembre de 2025 en la Funeraria Anderson en DeKalb.
