Brenda Drury, 68, of DeKalb, Illinois, formerly of Milton, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Accent Care in Naperville, Illinois.

 She was born January 28, 1956, in DeKalb, Illinois, the daughter of Edwin “Morry” and Joan (Wood) Drury.

 Brenda was a hair stylist for over forty years most recently at Diane’s Fifth St. Studio in DeKalb. She enjoyed music, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling and spending time at the lake house at Lake Koshkonong.

 She is survived by her children Trevor (Lori) Anderson, Lindsey Anderson and Brian (Michelle) Anderson; her grandchildren Claire, Isabell, Jackson, Jillian, Bridger and Elliana; her parents Morry and Joan; her brother Jim Drury; her sisters Sheryl Protano and Kim (Mike) Knowlton; several nieces and nephews.

 A special thanks to those who provided support and care in Brenda’s final days, Heather Bakken, Katherine Bakken, Pam Webb and Debbie Hill.

 She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Milton and Mabel Drury; her maternal grandparents Vernie and Ruby Wood; her aunts Joyce Meier, Betty Hilleson, Mary Vodden, Joan Kephart and Betty Wood.

 A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Anderson Funeral Home. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb, Illinois.
