Betty Koehling, 92, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center.

She was born May 17, 1932, in Kaneville Township, Illinois, the daughter of Weldon and Edith (Taylor) Florence. Betty married Gordon on December 26, 1953.

Betty enjoyed camping, gardening and being outdoors. She loved serving her community with fifty plus years helping the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. She spent many years volunteering at the Salvation Army food pantry.

She is survived by her children Karl (Kathy), Kurt (Gail), Kevin (Haley) and Mary (Ron) Reynolds; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; her brother Clarence (Carol) Florence.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb with

Rev. Jonathan Crail officiating. Private interment will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. 

Visitation will be from 9:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
