ANNIGJE TALLEY Obituary

 

Annigje Talley, 79, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Manor Court of Rochelle. 
  
She was born May 31, 1946, in Hoogeveen, Drenthe, Netherlands the daughter of Harm and Marchina (DeJonge) Fieten. 

She is survived by her children Michael Atieh (Megan Atieh), Anna Walker, Bobby Talley (Phyllis Talley), and Denise Bailey (Kenneth Bailey); her daughter-in-law Kandi Talley; her grandchildren Justin Talley (Michelle Talley), Benjamin Atieh, Jack Atieh, Rory Atieh,  Beverly Callahan, Tiffany Walker, Blair Walker, Melissa Valos, Steven Talley, Tobias Talley, Heather Rose (Jason Rose), Kimberly Miller, Patrick Talley, Amanda Cagle, Stephanie Cagle, Sara Cortright; several great and great-great grandchildren; her brother Harm Fieten; and her sister Beatrix Fieten.    
  
She was preceded in death by her husband Robinson Talley; her children Phyllis Dorwaldt and Tim Talley; her grandchildren Michael Kennedy, Kristopher Talley; and her great grandchild Dustin Knoles.

Ann lived a full and happy life. She spent her time caring for her family, canning, crafting and putting her endless and beautiful sewing, crocheting and quilting talents to use for her family, friends and community. She baked countless pies, loved her Boston terriers, and always had a smile. She will be remembered with love by all who had the blessing of knowing her. 
  
The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 5:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb, with Pastor Paul DeHaven officiating.  Interment will be private at Beverly Cemetery in Blue Island. 
  
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until the service at 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
