Angeline G. Shirkey, 94, of Cortland, Illinois, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at her home.

She was born October 24, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of George and Aspasia (Tziritis) Georgopulos.

She is survived by  her daughters Sandra I. Shirkey, Carla A. Channell (Travis) Jolliff and Laura (Frank Pieczatkiewicz) Shirkey; her grandchildren Jason, Danielle, Heather, Stephanie, Rob, Michael, and Rachel; her great-grandchildren James, JP, Cole, Reilly, Henry, Elena, Maci, Alexis, James, and Steven; daughter-in-law Susan Shirkey; her brother Denny (Christine) Georgopulos; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and her children George and Charles.

A visitation will  be held from 10am until time of service at 12pm at Crossview EFCA 150 Bethany Road, Dekalb IL, 60115, on January 25th, 2025.
