Angelica Castorena Cabrera, 52, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.

 She was born November 17, 1971, Mexico, the daughter of Angel and Lourdes (Castorena) Cabrera.

 She is survived by her father Angel; her siblings Jaime (Zaida), Susana (Gilberto Garcia), Angel and Oscar; her nieces and nephews Emilse (Vaughn) Garcia, Amanda (Isaac) Garcia, Mauricio, Daniel, Christopher and Elliott.

 She was preceded in death by her mother Lourdes.

 The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Mary’s Parish, 321 Pine Street, DeKalb. Private burial will be at St Patrick Cemetery in Rochelle.

 Rosary will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
