DEAN JORGENSEN Obituary

Dean F. Jorgensen, 63, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Accent Care Hospice in Naperville, Illinois with his family at his side.

 He was born January 10, 1961, in Belvidere, Illinois, the son of Fred and Frances (Houtz) Jorgensen. Dean married Jeanine Carlson on May 11, 1985, in Genoa, Illinois.

 Dean was employed at Johnson Controls/Adient in Sycamore for 36 years. He also worked at Menards in Sycamore. Dean was a member of the DeKalb Moose Lodge. He was a diehard Minnesota Vikings and Chicago White Sox fan. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, having an ice cold Pabst Blue Ribbon and collecting beer cans. Most of all Dean enjoyed spending time outside with his grandkids.

 He is survived by his wife Jeanine; his son Brad (Jessica) Jorgensen of Sycamore; his grandchildren Daniel Long of Colorado, Curtis Jorgensen and Klara Jorgensen both of Sycamore; and his brother-in-law Tom Flores of DeKalb.

 He was preceded in death by his son Curtis; his parents and sister Dyana Flores.

 A Celebration of Life will be held May 4, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the DeKalb Moose Lodge, 1231 E. Lincoln Highway, DeKalb, IL.  Please dress casual and wear your favorite sports team attire.
