Fred A. Walton, 59, of Sycamore, Illinois, died Friday, February 3, 2012, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb.
Born February 20, 1952, in Winnsboro, Louisiana, the son of Charles W. and Nelline M. (Coughran) Walton, he married Kimberley S. Parsons on May 14, 2005, in DeKalb.
Fred was a veteran of the United States Army. He was formerly employed as a counter top and cabinet maker for St. Charles Manufacturing and Charles Towne Kitchen and Bath, and later by Farmer’s Factory in Lee. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan. He is survived by his wife, Kimberley; sister, Angela (Gary) Landwehr of South Elgin; three brothers, Mike (LoLit) Walton of Addison, Robert Walton of Baskin, Louisiana, and Steve (Mary) Walton of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; his father, Charles Walton of Baskin, Louisiana; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nelline.
The memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, at Anderson Funeral Home, DeKalb, with the Rev. Robert Vaughn officiating. Full Military Honors will be provided by DeKalb County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday until the time of services. Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date.
